Why a cast?

The story of iconkind.

A character system grew out of the V3 engine and turned into a small family with names and opinions.

“A friendly face is the cheapest UX research you can do.”

[Replace with the real iconkind founding story. The system started as a V3 capability for putting characters into scenes — a technical thing. It became a brand because the characters had personalities before they were finished.]

What it is

iconkind is a character system: archetypes, slots, and named members of a cast. Each character is built from the same six parts, and yet each one is its own little person.

Why it exists

Because every product page wants a friendly face, and stock illustration always feels generic. We needed characters with continuity — characters that recur, grow, get fonder.

Where it lives

iconkind is the brand. The technical system is character.iconkind in Qx V3. Same characters, different surfaces.
